Autumn is now upon us and I for one could not be happier.
There is something very comforting about the Fall season.
As much as Spring is touted as the season of rebirth and renewal,
I believe the same can also be said for this time of year. It is
a very energized time, back to school, back to the gym, just back
to normal routines and schedules…
Now that the last hamburger has been flipped off the grill, we
must focus on our seasonal projects. As a reminder, the Sunrise
Club is looking for help with the rides at the St. Francis Fall Festival,
Sunday Oct 2 from 11-5. If you have the time, please email
announcing a work party for Santa Land and we will need all the
help we can get. The Christmas party has been scheduled for
Saturday, December 3, more details to follow shortly.
The By-Laws Committee will be meeting October 3. If you have any
comments or suggestions, please reach out PP Patricia Agliata.
The new fundraising committee has had it’s first meeting and the
Website committee has begun discussing new ideas. I am encouraging
all committees to convene meetings to deal with our club’s business
effectively. It is the only way to keep a strong, proactive and
successful Rotary Club.
YES! We are having another trivia contest on October 13 with many delightful and valuable prizes to be won! I am not disclosing the topic, however, here is a little hint “North and South”!
